CES 2015: Hands-On: HTC Desire 826

The HTC Desire lineup got refreshed this week at CES with the introduction of the HTC Desire 320 and HTC Desire 826. We managed to get some hands-on time with the HTC Desire 826, which will is targeted towards the Asia market. One of the main features of the HTC Desire 826 are the cameras. On the rear, users will find a 13 MP camera with Auto-Focus with a BSI sensor, f/2.2, 28mm lens with 1080p video recording capabilities. The front facing camera will have the familiar HTC Ultra Pixel sensor f/2.0 26.8mm and 1080p video recording.

We did notice that the HTC Desire 826 has a mix of design feature in HTC’s Desire family recently. The BoomSound speakers on the front have the same slit layout as what we saw of the HTC Desire Eye while the sides and back of the device are nearly identical to those of the HTC Desire 820.

There’s no word on the price yet, but with this being targeted at the Asia market, we do not expect to see this device arrive on western shores any time soon.
